I definitely agree with the needs being met at home...it starts at home.. If I was married and one of my wife's needs is to be tickled with a feather twice a day and I am not doing it best believe I am not going to get my need (of sex 4 times a day) met. These are fictional needs of course..but you have to take care of home to have home take care of you.

Hell, if I remember correctly, Eric Benet was not Halle's FIRST Husband. Granted, I'll agree that Halle is fine, but if she was a workaholic and didn't have time to satisfy Eric physically, then she fits into one of the categories that you listed. ok I defiently agree with you that people are often using it as an excuse when they cheat. HOWEVER, i do believe there are sex addicts. But i don't think they are really just addicted to the "sex" part. For many of the people who constantly cheat i do think it could be some type of addiction caused by a low self esteem and for whatever reason they have connected sex and being desired by as many people as possiable as being worth something. I think anything and everything can be addictive. Stuff thats good for you and stuff thats bad for you.

Yes there are many who would not consider be a person who loves sex the way Eric Benet did as a sex addict. But guess what they do exist. not by the hundreds but by the thousandsand then some. Think abt it if you like cocaine or any drug and you use for other purposes than medicinal you can be considered an addict. Look at kirk franklin: he was addicted to porno. micheal douglass aka sex addicted he was not acting either. there tons af people that deal with this problem. even female. some SAD=Sex addicts have sex 30 40 times a day. incredible but true. prostitutes lovers friends etc. there is difference btwn a SAD and a person with a high sex drive. usually the high sex drive may not go outside the realtionship (depending on the person)but most importnatly they are fulfilled at some point a SAD individual reaches that point an is ready in minutes almost like not getting high enough on a drug. well I hope tghis helps. any question please ask me. by the way u may be suprise what a person can be addicted too? so your hubby may be right but it depends on the person. There are some people who use this as way to have more sex but it will eventually catch up to them just like it does with a real addict.

I do not believe you can be addicted to sex. I think the issue that you are AVOIDING when you are ADDICTED to ANYTHING is what you need to resolve, to heal yourself from the avenue you have turned to to quench your thirst.

I believe that sex addiction is a valid disorder. However, a guy who fucks a lot of hoes can't just label himself "a sex addict" and try to absolve himself of his bullshit. A true sex addict is addicted to porn, masturbation and literally cannot function in their daily life without some sort of sexual release. Their addiction (like drug addicts or alcholics) probably dominates their lives and they lack self control in a major way.
