Have you ever had a one night stand?

I attempted to have a one- night- stand 13 years ago with the man who is now my husband but I guess since we began dating and moved in together shortly after that it doesn’t really count. It would seem from people that I have spoken to that its really no big deal.. I guess between consenting adults anything can happen.

Now Like I said Ive never had a one night stand so I don’t know the rules but I am really interested in a few things

How does it work? I mean I KNOW how it works but do you agree before the deed that it’s a one-night stand or do you decide afterward that it was a one-night-stand?

How do you feel about One-night-stands?

Have you ever had a One-night-stand? If not would you? If so would you do it again?

How long is too long to stay mad?

I have been known to hold a grudge. I’m still not talking to chick from elementary that use to pick on me and that was over 20years ago. That’s an isolated case but when does one stop being mad and get over it.

I had a friend from high school and she and I were really close. As we got older and she got pregnant our relationship got closer. I took her to her first prenatal visit, helped her get WIC and was pretty much there for her through the drama with her sons father. When she met a new man I was happy for her. When things started to go sour with him I was the shoulder to cry on, the optimist. “I think you two can work this out” but when things got worse I was the protector, “don’t make the same mistake twice”.

To make a long story short our relationship ended because she chose the man over our friendship. I let her know she was wrong and that we would never be friends again. True to my word it has been about six years (shes in the process of a divorce) and I have never said another word to her even though we share some of the same friends, People tell me that it been too long and that I should get over it but believe it or not I’m still mad.

So today’s questions is

How long can you hold a grudge?

We’ve all done it and some of us still do it, but where do you draw the line? I am by nature a flirt, its just imbedded in my DNA. I enjoy flirting and being flirted with. Who doesn’t like to feel like “you still got it”? Now I have always been known to flirt my way through situations for example

1. There was this leather jacket that I wanted but I didn’t want to pay full price for so after going back and forth with the guy and some light flirting he brought down the price.

So I do use my “powers” for good. LMAO. But recently I had an encounter with someone I met at work. This guy stops by my office and walks out, as he’s walking out I thought he was lost so I asked him “can I help you?” He tells me that he works for security and that he is just checking the floor. Ok. So he leaves and about 10 minutes later he comes back and introduces himself and we begin conversation (i.e. How long have you been working here? what did you do before this ect.) Now this guy is FINE and he proceeds to flirt with me, And not to be outdone I flirted back, now this is all in good fun until he asked me if I had a boyfriend (LOL. oh did I forget to mention this BOY (sorry) is only 26) he actually thought he was older than me. So usually this is the part where I make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that I have a husband and three kids and that usually puts the KABOSH on it going any further, but I don’t know if it was the fact that he was fine or that I was a little tickled by the fact that he was interested in me but I actually DIVERTED he question! I cant say why I acted like I didn’t hear him I just figure I am never going to see this guy again so it doesn’t matter.

Now I don’t expect to bump into this guy again but if I do rest assured that I will be letting him know that I am married and we can only be friends but has anyone ever found themselves in a similar situation?

Are you a flirt?

What are your feelings on flirting?

Have you told your partner everything?

I try to be as honest as I can with the people in my life but there are some things that I keep to myself. My husband and I have always been able to talk about anything and everything but there were a few things in my pass that I really felt like I could not share with him. Why? I think I was afraid of his reaction. I didn’t want his opinion of me to change. Well to make a long story short on our Sundays mornings we usually spend most of the morning in bed talking about life and what not and the subject came up about stuff we did in the past and for whatever reason I felt like I could at that moment divulge something from my past… turns out my husband and I have had many similar experiences. His reaction to what I told him was not what I expected. He was more understanding that I ever thought he could be. He says it our destiny to be together cause we always seem to be on the same page. It reminded me why I’m still with him after almost 13 years. :-)

So my question today is.....

Is there anything about your past you feel you just could not tell your partner? If not Why?

UPDATE----Two Truths and a lie- Part 2

1. I was once involved in illegal gambling.

True, I use to “payout” to people that won. Thank god I wasn’t around when the cops showed up. LOL

Lie. Not only do I not have a crush on him I can’t stand him. He is everything you never want in a man.

3. I have only had 5 boyfriends in my life.

True. Although I dated a lot I only had 5 real boyfriends.

My 10

I was tagged by LUVIN ME

10 qualities that make the perfect man to me are:

1. Honest/Trustworthy - Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, without this you have nothing

2. Romantic- Always a must. I am a true romantic and there isn’t ever anything I deem “corny” when it comes to romance

3. Spontaneity- There is nothing worse than routine

4. Ambitious- I like a man that has goals. As long as those goals don’t interrupt our “ couple time”. LOL

5. A good sense of humor- A man that can make me laugh is always a plus

6. Communicative- I need a man I can talk to that’s going to stimulate my mind not just my body. LOL

7. Must love family/children- Speaks for itself

8. Must be a great KISSER. I believe if the kiss is bad the sex will be too!

9. Sense of style- I love a man that likes to look good and smell good all the time

10. Love me- You have to really love me to be able to handle ALL OF ME. LOL

I won't tagg anyone but feel free to leave you 10.

Happy Hump Day!!!!

Over sexed? I say No!

It has been brought to my attention that lately my blogs focused has been mainly about sex. I disagree I don’t only talk about sex I do sprinkle in the sex part but I wouldn’t go as far as to say my blog is only about sex. It just happens that I enjoy sex and I enjoy talking about sex. Who was good, who was bad, and what I would love to try, but its not like I have these conversation by myself…. It would seem others are also interested I just happen to be the one bring it up.

I had a conversation with a friend of mine while on the way to a sex shop (I was out of a few things. LOL) But I could see that she wanted to spill a few things but she look nervous… so I made it crystal clear to her that whatever she was into was her business and if she wanted to talk about it I wasn’t going to judge her … that’s just not my style. Turns out what she’s into is nothing compare to other stuff I’ve hear.

So I am sure that for the most part if you are in a relationship you feel comfortable talking about what you like with your partner but do you feel comfortable talking about it with your friends and I don’t mean the G rated version of the conversation I mean the XXX Rated version. The one were you would fully disclose you being into S&M or something taboo like that. So today’s question is

Do you feel comfortable talking to your friends about the XXX rated version of your Sexlife?
